Dinosaurs....and a freebie! :)

This past week was our dinosaur study.  I really feel like I did not do it justice.  There just didn't seem to be enough time in the day to do it all!  However, we did learn a whole lot about dinosaurs and the munchkins had a great time.  Our library had a popup book that really captured their interest.  You can find it here:


One of their favorite discoveries was that scientists and paleontologists had made some mistakes when they first identified & built dinosaur skeletons from fossils.  They were all happier knowing that even paleontologists make mistakes.  :)  Silly munchkins!

I made a simple little book for them and I was surprised by just how much they loved it.  I enjoyed hearing them read the pages independently.  Here's a copy for you to download.
